School Drama Productions
This year we had many Drama Productions from all around New Zealand come and perform at our school, and all were done very. One in particular was this group who performed a play about a maori man with his friends joining the Maori Battalion, and defending not only our country but the rest of the world. "The Battalion"
Books n Homes
Books in Homes is a literacy programme aimed at breaking the cycle of "bookless ness" for children in decile 1, 2 & 3 schools throughout New Zealand.
Various awards aimed at encouraging reading amongst families and the community are part of the programme.
